A Stable Full of Characters
Our love of horses began with our daughter, Laura Watts, who fell in love with them after a childhood visit to a ranch in Bandera, Texas. That early fascination eventually grew into a passion that continues today at the WAG Ranch.
Our own horse journey began in 2012, when Mike surprised Lindsay with Scarlett, a birthday gift that brought tears of joy and started something neither of us quite anticipated.
Today, horses are part of our family life for two main reasons: barrel racing and breeding. Of course, breeding horses is supposed to involve selling a few along the way. We've discovered that's considerably easier said than done as you become attached to every one.
Each horse has a personality, a story, and a special place in our hearts. Here are a few of the characters that make up our current herd.
